Brown eggshell powder is a product obtained from the grinding of eggshells sourced from brown eggs. This powder consists mainly of protein & calcium carbonate, constituting approximately 90% of its composition. Although the chemical makeup of brown and white eggshells is fundamentally similar, brown eggshells tend to be darker because of pigments found in the outer layer.
