Product details
1000 C calcium silicate thermal insulation slabs are composed mainly of SiO2 and CaO, 100% non-asbestos. They are made by pressing after chemical reaction under high temperature. The slabs are mainly used in industrial furnaces for steel, aluminium, cement, glass, ceramic, and other industries for refractory and thermal insulation. The products are also used in petrochemistry, building, walls, ventilation ducts, fireproof doors, and other applications for fireproofing or thermal insulation. They can be used under 1000 C high temperature without deformation, fracture, or powdering. Physical properties: density (bulk, dry) kg/m3: HCS-23 230 ±10%, HCS-27 270 ±10%; flexural strength MPa: HCS-23 ≥0.45, HCS-27 ≥0.50; thermal conductivity W/m.k: HCS-23 ≤0.056 + 0.00011t, HCS-27 ≤0.058 + 0.00011t; service temperature max C: 1000; linear shrinkage % ≤2 (1000 C, 16 hrs).
