Product details

Nature: Colorless orthogonal rhombic or flaky crystals with a slight sour taste. Easily deliquescent in the air. Easy to dissolve in water, the aqueous solution exhibits an acidic reaction. Slightly soluble in ethanol. It decomposes when heated or in contact with hot water. Corrosive to glass. Non flammable and irritating. Heat decomposition releases toxic nitrogen oxides and fluoride smoke. It can sublime at higher temperatures. Usage: Chemical analysis reagents. Used as a glass etchant in frosted glass production, a disinfectant and preservative in the fermentation industry, and a surface treatment agent for silicon steel plates. It is also used for cleaning and descaling in the manufacturing of ceramics, magnesium alloys, boiler feedwater systems, and steam generation systems, as well as for acidification treatment in oilfield sand plants.
