A 40 ft platform container is a reinforced flatbed with no side walls and no end walls, designed for oversized cargo and very high point loads. The heavy-duty steel frame and timber deck provide a stable base for loads that can’t fit into standard containers, and lashing points along the side rails are used to secure the cargo during transport. Many 40 ft platforms include gooseneck tunnels to improve chassis compatibility.
