EXPO PESCA & ACUIPERU

September 02, 2025 - September 04, 2025

We extend a warm welcome to the 11th edition of "EXPO PESCA & ACUIPERU," the premier International Fishing & Aquaculture Fair, set to take place at the Jockey Exhibition Center in Lima, Peru. This event is the largest of its kind in Latin America and has been a significant gathering every two years since 2003.

EXPO PESCA & ACUIPERU brings together manufacturers and distributors showcasing their latest equipment, supplies, and services for fishing and aquaculture. This includes boats and parts, capture technology, cultivation systems, refrigeration, processing, and distribution solutions. The fair serves as a comprehensive platform for industry professionals, including owners, directors, managers, supervisors, technicians, and specialized personnel from fishery factories and aquaculture operations.

Peru is an open market with no barriers or limitations on imports, and foreign currency exchange is unrestricted. The importation of equipment is subject to payment of import duties on the CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) value, plus an 18% General Sales Tax (IGV). However, exhibition samples can be temporarily imported without paying import duties or providing a bank guarantee. After the fair, these samples may remain in Peru for an additional 120 days for nationalization or re-export.

In conjunction with EXPO PESCA & ACUIPERU, the third edition of SEAFOOD LIMA will also be held. This event specializes in the commercialization of processed, frozen, fresh, and cured fish and seafood, as well as fishmeal and fish oil. Exhibitors include local and international processing plants and exporters showcasing their exportable offerings to visitors, importers, supermarkets, wholesalers, restaurants, cruise lines, fishing terminals, and brokers.

Although Peru is the world's leading exporter of fishmeal, it imports about one-third of its fish consumption, presenting a vast market opportunity for foreign exporters of tuna, basa, mackerel, caviar, jack mackerel, shrimp, reineta, salmon, tilapia, and other species. In 2023, Peru imported approximately USD 323,435,933 CIF of these species, primarily from Argentina, Ecuador, Thailand, China, Chile, and the USA.

We anticipate welcoming 9,500 top-tier international buyers from Peru and abroad over the three days of the event. For stand reservations, please visit the "INFO PARA EXHIBIR - FORMULARIO RESERVA DE STAND" section on our website, complete the form, and submit it. Alternatively, you may contact us or reach out to one of our representatives listed in the "RED DE OFICINAS" menu.
