FAMEX - Mexico Aerospace Fair

Completed One year into my role as Director of the Mexican Aerospace Fair (FAMEX), I reaffirm my commitment to continue working with the same passion and dedication to ensure that the event remains the most important aerospace gathering in Latin America. The FAMEX has become a cornerstone of the aerospace industry, not only for Mexico but also for the global market, fostering synergy and collaboration across nations. This synergy is crucial for the sustained growth of the aerospace sector, promoting development that benefits individuals, businesses, and society as a whole.
FAMEX was conceived as a platform to showcase Mexico’s aerospace capabilities and to position the country as a key player in the global aerospace industry. Since its inception in 2015, the fair has grown to represent a vital meeting point for professionals, experts, and stakeholders. The vision behind FAMEX was to create a space where different facets of the aerospace sector could come together and collaborate, sharing knowledge, experience, and opportunities for innovation. This vision continues to guide the event as it prepares for another successful edition.
The activities and initiatives at FAMEX are what truly set it apart from other aerospace events around the world. Organized by the Mexican Air Force and the Ministry of National Defense, FAMEX offers a unique perspective on the aerospace industry, combining technical expertise with national pride and a sense of purpose. The event features a wide array of activities, such as the Foreign Investment Seminar, the Aerospace Education Forum, and the Aerospace Summit, which collectively promote dialogue and collaboration. In addition, the Migration to the Aeronautical Industry forum, the Air Safety Meeting, and the Business Meeting of the Aeronautical Industry of Mexico provide a comprehensive platform for discussing critical issues and driving forward industry development.
Perhaps one of the most distinctive aspects of FAMEX is the diverse and interactive nature of the event. Attendees have the opportunity to participate in B2B meetings, attend technical conferences, and witness aircraft demonstrations and static displays. These activities not only allow for a deeper understanding of the technologies shaping the future of aerospace but also enable professionals to build meaningful relationships and create new business opportunities. Furthermore, the inclusion of specialized events such as the Summit of Rectors and the Congress of Women Leaders of Society and the Aerospace Sector adds an inclusive dimension, promoting diversity and leadership within the aerospace community.
As we continue to build on the success of past editions, the FAMEX team remains focused on ensuring that the event remains relevant, dynamic, and responsive to the needs of the aerospace industry.
