Bold or Runner Peanuts. Small in size. Elongated shape. High oil content. Red Skin. The Bold Peanuts are also know as Runner Peanuts. This type of peanuts needs a huge amount of water for its cultivation. Therefore, it is mainly cultivated during the winter season. Of the total peanuts produced 75 % of the peanuts are produced during the winter season i.e. Kharif Season, which starts from the month of June to the month of September .And the rest of the groundnuts are produced in the Rabi Season, which starts from the month of November to the month of April.
