A high-pressure receiver, also known as a liquid receiver, is typically required in refrigeration systems operating below their full nominal capacity. It is usually installed near the condenser outlet, allowing for consistent head pressure during lower ambient temperatures. This receiver stores excess refrigerant not in circulation when system capacity is reduced. It is a pressurized storage vessel, generally sized to hold 80% to 100% of the system's total refrigerant charge. The Metalex receiver tank is compatible with various refrigerants commonly used in industrial refrigeration systems, including R717 (ammonia) and R744 (carbon dioxide/CO2)
