Alkali-free fiberglass fabric (E-glass classification) is engineered with the following composition: SiO2: 52-56% Al2O3: 12-16% CaO+MgO: 16-25% Alkali oxides: no more than 0.8% This material delivers superior electrical insulation properties and mechanical strength for electronics and industrial applications. Glass Fiber Cloth is the most widely used reinforcing material in composite manufacturing. This plain weave style is frequently employed in the construction of surfboards, sailboats, and cedar strip canoes. It provides uniform strength in both horizontal and vertical directions. Compatible with epoxy, polyester, and vinyl ester resins.
