The Big Mangoes are imported from Australia to Vietnam, weighing from 1-1.5kg. The fruit has a relatively round shape, not as long as other mango varieties. The pods are green when alive. When nearly ripe, the top of the fruit will turn red. When ripe, the whole fruit will be yellow and fragrant. If eaten raw, it will have a sweet and sour taste. When cooked, it has a sweet taste, tender meat, rich in vitamins. The Big Mangoes when ripe have a delicious taste that is not inferior to specialty mangoes in Vietnam.
