Highly qualified Stretch Film Stretch film, or stretch wrap, is a highly stretchable plastic film used in packaging and shipping by wrapping around items to keep them in place. The elastic recovery of stretch wrap ensures that items remain tightly bound. The most common material for stretch film is LLDPE (Linear low-density polyethylene) resin, but some customers prefer other types of polyethylene or PVC for production. HANPAK can design and manufacture stretch wrap with various specifications tailored to customer demands. Stretch wrap is typically used to hold goods on a pallet for transportation but can also bundle smaller items to protect them during both transportation and storage. Stretch film serves several functions, including improving product or package stability by forming a unit load, facilitating efficient handling and storage of unit loads, protecting goods from dust and moisture, resisting falsification and package pilferage, protecting goods from sunlight with UV stretch wraps, extending the shelf life of certain foods, and ensuring boxes remain on the pallet and properly aligned.
