Soybean meal

Soybean meal is made by grinding soybeans and removing the fat, resulting in a low-fat soy product. It is the most common product on the market used in the feed industry. Due to its high protein content, soybean meal is the main raw material for the production of livestock and poultry feed. It can also be used to make confectionery, health food, cosmetics and antibiotics. Soybean meal is used in food and animal feed, mainly as a protein supplement, but also as a source of metabolic energy.
