Soy Meal (D.O.C.)

Soybean meal is made by grinding soybeans & removing the fat resulting in a low-fat soy product. This is the most common product on the market and utilized by the feed industry. As a high protein, soybean meal is the main raw material for making livestock and poultry feed. It can also be used to make pastry foods, health foods, cosmetics and antibiotic materials. Soybean meal is used in food and animal feeds, mainly as a protein supplement, but also as a source of metabolizable energy.
