Dried fig packaging techniques: bulk packaging for industrial or wholesale shipments, dried figs are typically packed in cardboard boxes of 1, 2, 5, 10, or 12.5 kg. Retail packaging: consumer oriented packs start from 25 grams. Wooden boxes, transparent plastic containers (PET packaging), resealable doypack bags, or individual packs are frequently preferred. Shaping: figs are arranged in food grade packaging in traditional forms such as halved, Lerida style, flaked, or folded depending on the type of packaging.
