The Automated Tablet Dispensing & Packaging System (ATDPS) is mainly used in inpatient pharmacies of medical institutions to achieve automated single-dose dispensing of oral medications. This equipment integrates with the hospital information system (HIS) to parse and process medical orders, enabling pharmacists to conduct prescription reviews. The equipment consists of internal/external pill boxes, packaging modules, and display screens, and can store various tablets or capsules. It is controlled by a computer to achieve precise drug sorting. Its core function is to automatically package the drugs into separate sealed bags according to the patient's medication time, and simultaneously print the patient's information, medication details, and barcodes. It adopts double-layer pill trays and a sealed packaging process, with a dispensing speed of 40-60 packages per minute and an accuracy rate of over 99%. At the same time, it reduces the risk of human contamination. Some models are equipped with intelligent pill boxes and QR code traceability systems, supporting batch number and expiration date management of drugs.
