Leonardite is a natural organic mineraloid rich in carbon. It forms from deposits of animal and plant remains that have undergone geological transformation over millions of years. Leonardite contains a significant amount, up to 90%, of humic substances, fulvic acids, minerals, and other organic compounds. It is mined from the upper layers of brown coal and lignite deposits located near the earth's surface. This material has not yet completed its full transformation into coal but already possesses a high content of organic substances. Leonardite acts as a soil conditioner, as well as a biocatalyst and biostimulator for plants. The use of humic acids contained in leonardite is an excellent natural organic method for supplying plants and soil with essential nutrients, vitamins, and trace elements.
