Melerade is a cross between Swedish and Gotland sheep breeds. These skins are characterized by beautiful, slightly curly hair and are incredibly soft to the touch. The name "Melerade" comes from the Swedish word for "spotted." The eye color is often referred to as Melerade. Our Melerade sheepskins are imported directly from the best Swedish slaughterhouses.
