The product features include a true RMS reading instrument ideal for accurate measurement of distorted and non-sinusoidal waveforms from thyristors. It can measure AC and DC currents up to 2000A, with an output terminal for recorder connection and a minimum resolution of 0.1A. It is designed to meet the international safety standard IEC61010-1 CAT.IV600V. The CAT.IV clamp meter can measure voltage and current in both very low and high power circuits. It provides accurate true-RMS readings of AC current or voltage with distorted waveforms and measures current and voltage variations as short as 10 msec with a peak-hold feature. An AVERAGE function allows for easy reading of fluctuating current or voltage, and it provides output to a recorder for current variation recording.
