These halogen-free cables are designed for installations in dry, humid, and wet environments, but are not suitable for outdoor use. They are intended for fixed or flexible applications, though not for situations involving high tensile stress or forced bending. Ideal where increased safety is required in case of fire, the cables are flame retardant, have low smoke emissions, and release non-corrosive gases when exposed to flames. The construction includes a Class 5 fine-stranded copper conductor according to EN 60228, halogen-free cross-linkable polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, and a halogen-free flame-retardant (HFFR) outer sheath in grey. The cables meet the following standards: DIN EN 50399, DIN EN 60754-2, DIN EN 61034-2, and DIN EN 60332-1-2.
