Halley-D is a vertical glass-door display refrigerator operating with a remote refrigeration system. By separating the condensing unit from the cabinet body, internal heat load is minimized, allowing the evaporator to operate more efficiently and ensuring stable temperature distribution throughout the display volume. Compared to open systems, the glass-door configuration provides higher energy efficiency and consistent performance, particularly in long refrigerated aisles. Halley-D can be manufactured with sliding glass doors, full glass doors, or single-glass hinged doors, depending on customer requirements. Low-emissivity glass and airtight door construction reduce heat transfer, lower system load, and optimize overall energy consumption. Cold-air circulation is managed through controlled airflow between the upper air distribution ducts and the lower return channel. The airflow regime is optimized to limit warm air infiltration during door opening cycles while maintaining uniform product temperatures across all shelf levels. The cabinet body is reinforced with polyurethane-injected insulation, reducing thermal losses and improving structural rigidity. Perforated, airflow-compatible shelving ensures balanced cold-air distribution throughout the display area. Halley-D is engineered for continuous and intensive operation. Front and upper service access points provide easy maintenance access to electrical components, control systems, and fan assemblies. Thanks to the glass-door structure, cold-air loss is minimized during non-operational hours without the need for additional accessories, resulting in lower overall energy consumption.
