Halley is a vertical open display cabinet operating with a remote refrigeration system. By separating the condensing unit from the cabinet body, internal heat load is significantly reduced, allowing the evaporator to operate with higher efficiency and maintaining temperature stability throughout the display area. The air curtain is formed between the top discharge duct and the lower return grille, running in a closed-loop airflow cycle. Air velocity is optimized to lower product surface temperatures while preventing excessive disruption when customers access the shelves. This stabilizes product temperatures even under fluctuating store ambient conditions. The cabinet body is reinforced with polyurethane-injected insulation, minimizing thermal losses and improving structural rigidity. Perforated, airflow-compatible shelving ensures uniform cold-air distribution across all display levels. Halley is engineered for continuous operation, with service access points integrated into the front and upper sections for quick maintenance of electrical components, control systems, and fan assemblies. When used with a night curtain, cold-air loss is significantly reduced, resulting in lower energy consumption during non-operational hours.
