Black peat is aged, degraded coco peat with fine particles which have been gathered for several years. Black peat can be used as a substrate for germination and seedling stages due to its lower electrical conductivity which is highly favorable for the nursery stage. Apart from that usage, this material can be used as an amendment which can be used to reduce the higher electrical conductivity of growth substrates. Black peat 4CU bales are specially designed for plant nurseries, as direct growth substrates or components of a soil mixture. Black peat is ideal as a soil conditioner to improve the soil's performance, physical conditions, and structure. Therefore, this product is widely used in solid potting mixtures, and seedling trays to facilitate seed raising and fast root development. The unique characteristics of the product are less compressed and easy to break down by hand.
