Sulfur is one of the common elements on earth with the chemical symbol S. It is known for its bright yellow color. In industry, it is widely used in sulfuric acid production, agricultural, medical, food, paper and rubber industries. Granular sulfur is lemon-yellow granules with a diameter of 0.5 - 6 mm, which, depending on the method of production, can take the form of grains, capsules, balls or pellets. It is insoluble in water, but soluble in benzene, toluene, carbon disulfide and under pressure in liquid ammonia. Technical sulfur is used for the production of sulfuric acid, carbon disulfide, dyes, in the pulp and paper, textile and other industries and for export, it is used in the process of rubber vulcanization.
