Di-calcium phosphate (DCP) is a perfect supplement for poultry, cattle, fish and pet animals. Calcium is necessary for bone formation, bone strength, heart and muscle function and for its role in animal physiology and metabolism. The food sources of calcium are milk, cheese, yogurt, fish, beans, lentils, Almonds and other nuts, in leafy greens, tofu, figs etc. The phosphorus component helps the nervous system, kidney function, muscle and heart function. Phosphorus is present in a large number of foods like chicken, port, organ meat, seafood, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, nuts, whole grains, beans and lentils and soya. The organic sources are cattle bone, fish bone, cuttlebone, egg shells. The calcium and phosphorus ratio in DCP is better for biosorption, hence the value and demand for organic DCP is high. A new and a much better form of organic DCP is now marketed by us. This is the DCP from Fish Scales. It has a calcium content of 32-34% and a phosphorus content of 16 17%. Many poultry farm trials have shown that the DCP from fish has resulted in a better thickness in egg shells. In addition, the Fish DCP has 6-7% protein and a number of trace elements essential for the growth of animal tissue and necessary for animal health like magnesium, zinc, selenium and sodium. Zinc and selenium are important trace elements for the fur growth in cattle and pet animals. In addition the protein present will help in cartilage build up in animals.
