The product specifications are as follows: available grades include 300+, 150/300, 80/160, 60/80, 40/60, 20/40, and 10/20. The acidity ranges from 3.0% to 3.5%, and the salt content is between 3.8% and 4.2%. Calcium chloride (CaCl2) is present at 800 to 1,200 ppm. Each unit is packed in 260-liter drums, containing 180 kg of product. The pickled gherkins are available in several length categories (in centimeters): 1-4, 3-6, 6-9, and 9-12.
