ASE-006 is an APEO-free, solvent-free, acid-containing, cross-linked acrylic emulsion copolymer, alkali-soluble emulsion (ASE) thickener for latex coatings. When neutralized with a base, this product effectively increases low-shear viscosity to deliver coatings with highly shear-thinning characteristics. ASE-006 is delivered as a high-solids liquid for ease of handling in manufacturing and is an excellent choice for the development of moderately textured paints.
